After 20+ years with my head down raising kids and taking care of my family, I one day looked up, the nest was empty and I didn’t know what was next for me. 

I kept thinking about some of the amazing gap year programs for teens as they go from one phase of their lives into another. The pitches were promising: “Climb the highest peak!  Sail the seven seas!  Immerse yourself in another culture and find out what you're made of!”  I thought, ‘Wait. I want to do that, I want to sail the seven seas to find out what I’m made of! Someone needs to do this for women as we go from one phase in our lives into another!’ And after searching for a travel company that did this, I couldn’t find one.

Combining my love of travel and a belief that women are seeking more, I created Flightpath, a travel company that inspires, challenges, and guides women as we pursue our truest selves.

I still have plenty of days not knowing what’s ahead, but I’m embracing my curiosity and courage as I step into what’s next with purpose.
